last day of duck season
Here we are back at mendota wildlife area. Its the last weekend of duck season and its been a very good season and we worked very hard scouting for the ducks and geese. we walk about almost a mile to get to our hunting spot. its a very good spot and weve been seing geese and duck landing in that pond because its what the ducks and geese want. In that pond they plant food for the ducks so they can eat.
[Image]Many people stayed at mendota as early as wednesday to get in line because they know it was gonna be packed. As i told you like the last blog i post they can allow up to 600 hunters in the refuge, they let over 630 this past saturday because many hunters know they will be able to hunt because most refuges only let 100 hunters in . i know some hunters that come from LA to hunt here . Saturday was packed! they was alot of people around the pond we hunted but it was worth getting out spot because we spanked the ducks. it was a good way to end the season!
